Punjab Law and Order Crisis: Manoj Singh Bhatti Criticizes AAP Government Over Rising Crime
Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Department (Amritsar Rural) and senior Congress leader Manoj Singh Bhatti has raised serious concerns regarding the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab under the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.
Bhatti alleged that since the AAP government came to power, incidents of violent crime, gang wars, extortion, and broad daylight shootings have increased across the state. He stated that the situation has created fear among common citizens, with many people feeling unsafe in their own neighborhoods.
According to Bhatti, criminals are operating without fear, reflecting administrative failure and weak enforcement. He emphasized that ensuring public safety is the primary responsibility of any government, and the current administration has failed to control rising criminal activities.
He further said that Punjab, once known for peace and communal harmony, is now facing serious law and order challenges. Bhatti urged the state leadership to take immediate and strict action to restore confidence among the public.
He concluded by demanding accountability and strong governance measures to protect the lives and property of Punjab’s citizens.
I, Manoj Singh Bhatti, Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Department (Amritsar Rural), sincerely urge all leading television channels, digital media platforms, and newspapers across Punjab to take this issue seriously and provide fair and responsible coverage.
We invite all reputed media organizations to review and report on this matter:
We believe that responsible journalism plays a vital role in highlighting public safety concerns and ensuring accountability in governance.
The voice of the people must not go unheard.
