Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti Celebrated with Grand Procession in Amritsar

Today, on the auspicious occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, Shri Sukhwinder Singh Danny Bandala, Secretary All India Congress Committee and In-charge of Delhi, led a grand procession to Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath, Amritsar. Celebrating the Legacy of Maharishi Valmiki

Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, observed on October 7th, 2025, commemorates the birth anniversary of the great sage who authored the epic Ramayana. The Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthan in Amritsar holds special significance as legends suggest that Goddess Sita spent time here and gave birth to Lav and Kush at this divine place.
