A significant meeting was organized today at the Chief Election Office in Tarn Taran under the leadership of S. Amarinder Singh Raja Warring (Punjab Congress President) and Opposition Leader S. Partap Singh Bajwa

The meeting brought together the entire Punjab Congress leadership to discuss comprehensive coordination with party workers and strategies to intensify the election campaign for the upcoming by-election. Senior leaders including 

The Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, scheduled for November 11, 2025, has emerged as a crucial political contest following the death of AAP MLA Kashmir Singh Sohal in June. Congress has fielded Karanbir Singh Burj, a local agriculturist and real estate businessman, as their candidate for this high-stakes election.

The enthusiastic response from the people of the Tarn Taran constituency indicates strong grassroots support for the Congress party's campaign efforts. Party leaders expressed confidence that this by-election will set the tone for Punjab's political direction ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.​
